UFO Sunday

Here is another UFO Sunday and my Greek Cross quilt is near the finish line.

The quilting is 75% done. The binding is made and ready to put on.

I decided to do this square loopy design. I will admit, as always, I wasn't sure how to quilt it. So, to think about it, I went ahead and made the binding. But, after much thought, I couldn't get this design out of my head, so I went for it. But I will say, circuit board was a second contender.  I am happy with the choice.

I thought I could get this one finished this weekend, but I guess I'm just not that fast. It will be finished before the next UFO Sunday!!

    1. funny thing about that thread, I had bought it online for another project(2 spools) and it was the wrong shade, but it was perfect for this!

  4. The square loopy design is perfect! With all of the right angles in the quilt, it needed something 'squarish'. It looks wonderful! ~Jeanne

    1. Good! It's never to late for that one. Once you have it, it's yours forever. Plus, I have learned a lot from it( the Craftsy Class)

  11. I wanted to see your blog - since you commented on mine. Very nice and I really like the quilting pattern you chose. I think choosing the fabric and deciding on the way to quilt are the hardest part!

    1. I agree! But the choosing fabric part is getting easier for me since there are so many I love. But still hard.

  12. This quilting pattern is perfect for the boxy Greek crosses. Great choice, and you do such a great job quilting it!

I know exactly what you mean about projects taking a bit longer than you think....I'm starting to suspect time goes faster on weekends. I can't prove it though. :)
