Last 2012 Project?

This is the same purse, front and back. Perhaps my last finish for 2012? Maybe;) I used Noodlehead's 241 Tote pattern to make this purse and Elizabeth Hartman's tutorial on how to make quilted panels for a structured bag for the middle panel section. I screwed up on the darts at the bottom, but I was able to make small adjustments to accommodate my mistake.

Now I'm off to try to squeeze out one more project before 2012 ends;)

I haven't posted for quite a while. I have been busy. Busy for Christmas. Did I get my Christmas quota done? YES! Here is the last quilt I wanted to get done. Cameron's Zig-Zag quilt.

I used zippling to quilt it. I thought it was appropriate. It's also becoming one of my favorite quilting designs! Don't be surprised if you see a lot of it from me. I finished the quilt last week, but then I started another project.

I made these quilted cuff bracelets for my awesome co-workers! They are a fast and easy gift to whip up unless you have about 20 or so to make:) It took me a while for me to figure out the best way to make them, though. I should also mention that they are reversible! I know the pictures are horrible. I snapped them at work right before I bagged them to pass them out.

I bought a plastic snap kit to make these. HIGHLY ADDICTIVE! The snaps are colorful, fun and easy to apply.

In all the business of making, I haven't decorated my house for Christmas one iota. This is so unlike me. I think with personal problems along with the CT tragedy has left me in a funk that I am unable to snap out of. I'm afraid I have very little Christmas spirit this year.

Anyway, I'm still here. Hope you all have a better holiday than I am.

Heartbreak and other stuff

I took some more photos of the last quilt intended for Cameron. Now it will be Drews.

Now here comes the heart break. After taking my not so great pictures, I decided to give it a first wash. Then dried it. I went to fold it and noticed these little green spots. I was perplexed as to what happened. So I checked my washer. There lay a green bic pen. It must have been in the load before which was a couple of blankets that were on the couch. At this point I have no choice But to give it as there is no time to make another one.

I have started Cameron's quilt now. The top is complete but I had a tough time deciding how to place the rows of colors. I have my favorite but the majority had theirs. I will reveal in the next post what I went with. Which one do you like??

Note* I am not switching who gets what quilt because of the stain. I made that decision beforehand!! I love all of my children equally!!!

I published form my Iphone because my pictures are full in Picasa Web albums as I stated in my last post. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do at this point, but I know posting from my phone is not fun and I can't put the pictures where I want them. But, at least my phone will let me upload pictures!

I'm linking up with Leah Day:)

I'm posting from my IPhone again because if you read my last post, I have ran out of space in my Picasa Web Albums do pictures. I still haven't decided how to address the issue, but I know I won't enjoy posting from my phone Indefinitely.

Help with blog pictures????

Ok so I just blew through my free 1G of space on Picasa Web Albums so I can't publish pictures unless I by more gigs. I'm not sure what to do. I know a lot of people use Flickr. Do I need Flickr pro? I am lost as to what to do. Either way, it looks like I will have to pay for something. And if I go through Flickr, can I publish multiple pictures to one post? Is it something in my Blogger settings I need to change? Any help will be appreciated.
