This is the same purse, front and back. Perhaps my last finish for 2012? Maybe;) I used
Noodlehead's 241 Tote pattern to make this purse and
Elizabeth Hartman's tutorial on how to make quilted panels for a structured bag for the middle panel section. I screwed up on the darts at the bottom, but I was able to make small adjustments to accommodate my mistake.
Now I'm off to try to squeeze out one more project before 2012 ends;)
Great purse! Wonder what else you'll squeeze out??? Waiting to see! ~Jeanne
ReplyDelete:) thanks!
DeleteLove the black and white, and it's such a good feeling I think to rectify a mistake - and making it still beautiful
ReplyDeleteYa! I was worried for a minute!
DeleteWow! Your bag looks amazing. This wants me to make one for myself ;).
ReplyDeleteIt's a pretty cool looking bag. I've seen many and they always look great!
DeleteGreat bag! I've had my eye ont the 241 tote pattern for a while and I think the quilting is a great way to give it some pop. I will keep this in mind when I (hopefully) make one for myself next year.
ReplyDeleteYou should! I'm making another one but I gotta get more interfacing;) The quilting method was fun, but it took longer than I thought:/. I still managed to make it in a couple of days.
