Congratulations, June!
This is the first time using Random.org. It was a learning experience. Note: I only counted Susan Lawson once, in case anyone is counting;)
Ok, so now on to my progress.
I like how this turned out!! The different colors are to resemble thread. I like how the quilting turned out!
I this quilting design is to represent the zig-zag stitch. I like how it turned out(although the "o" was a challenge. There was a LOT of thread burying in this design:/ I wish I would have used black thread, but at the time, I thought this particular piece needed some color. Oh well. It's done now, and rip it I will NOT!
This is the piece I have left to quilt. As you see I have ripped some here. I didn't like how the design was going. I have another idea here. Hope it works out! I am stumped on the rest of this piece. If you look back on the picture from my previous blog post you will see the whole(sorry I don't have a picture now) I have a lot of ideas but nothing to settle on. This is always the hardest for me.....picking a design!
Thanks to all who participated in my giveaway and all of you who read my blog!
Congratulations June! Danielle, I love your progress - the quilting is perfect! ~Jeanne
ReplyDeleteThanks! Unfortunately, my last piece (the spool) didn't go so well. I'm afraid I'm starting from scratch again on that piece:/

DeleteThe quilting looks wonderful - lucky me to have my name picked. Your email to me went into the SPAM folder - said because of some phrase in the email - but didn't tell me what the phrase was.
