Quilt Along Wednesday's: Circuit Board

First of all, I'm glad we're back at it! Here are my practice pieces for circuit board. I don't think it turned out to bad for a first try. I will be putting it in my QAYG FMQ quilt. I think I will opt to go this route instead of Leah's upcoming project unless the 5 blocks I have so far fit in with it. I have 3 WIP's.This one, the Craftsy BOM, and the Greek Cross quilt I just started. I am not a WIP person. I tend to do one project at a time or I get to stressed out. The last thing I want to do is bite off more than I can chew and get burned out. But, I will still follow along trying to make mine fit in with the Quilt along Wednesdays.

  1. Great job. Yes, I am also thinking that I will stay with the quilt that I am currently working on as I also have several things on the go (and several other ideas in my head).

    1. Thank you. Ya, I am still undecided. If I love it, I may, but I'm already stressed about what I have going on. It makes me feel like I will never finish. that's why I like to do one at a time. There are just so many fun quilt alongs out here in blog land. Plus, I have my own ideas. Ahhhhh, so little time.

  3. Ah looks so nice - the colors of the fabric and the thread are just right to make the stitching stand out. I have several projects that I have't finished - but am thinking I will do Leah's project - I can always do a baby quilt as it turns out our friends are having babies!

    1. Thank you! I am committing myself to making quilts no smaller than a generous lap size or twin the rest of the year. Most of my quilts have been baby quilts I have given away. We only have ONE quilt I have made in this house. I gave it to my daughter. I would like to make my 2 sons a quilt and my husband too. Everyone is always stealing blankets around here!! I'm thinking if they had their very own.....probably no, they will still steal them, haha! I plan on keeping the quilts I make for my family until they each have one, with the exception of my 2 step daughters. They are going to college soon, so they need one too. It's funny. When people know you sew(make quilts), every one wants one. Do they realize how much time and money goes in to these???? And i am sick to death of people wanting to pay me to make them a quilt. my new answer is "You can't afford me" haha. Oh my, did I just vent on you....sorry about that. I quess this is my year to be stingy
