I have been working on this quilt for a while! It is From Elizabeth Hartman's Craftsy class,Inspired Modern Quilting: 7 Small Projects With Big Style.. It's called Low Volume Tiles. That is How Elizabeth did hers, with Low Volume fabrics. I chose a more vibrant color!!
I also tried a batting that I have never tried before, Fairfield Nature-Fil Batting which is a cotton/bamboo batting. I love the drape of this quilt upon using this batting! I didn't have any issues with it at all!
I made this quilt label on Spoonflower. I like how it turned out!
I used the quilt design I designed which I have decided to call sliced citrus! I think It turned out great!!
I really liked this quilt pattern. I think I will call my quilt Concrete Jungle, because it looks like buildings all jammed together! What do you think?
I'm linking up with Leah Day!
I love your quilt - the colors and design are awesome! I haven't tried any batting with bamboo but I think I should. Concrete Jungle is a perfect name. ~Jeanne
ReplyDeleteThanks! I like the bamboo batting. I just wish it came in white for white fabrics!
DeleteThis is super cool! I have been wanting to make that pattern for a while. Your bright colors is really cool!

DeleteWow! Love it! Does the label iron on? or do you have to stitch it on? I'm curious. I usually print mine on printable fabric that irons on.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mike. No, it's not an iron on. This was my sample I ordered from Spoonflower. I will be ordering a whole yard soon!
