I have trouble disengaging that "perfectionist" side of my brain so will often mark things like the foundational line just to get it just "right".

Really there's no wrong way to go with it, just that marking does take a few more minutes to get started, but then again that is time saved if it stops you from making a mistake and having to rip something out. Just keep it all in perspective and forge ahead as a modern free motion quilter (no rules, just texture!)

Cheers!

LeahLeahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03674869334249298532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6608589772277647811.post-997540939662752922012-05-24T06:37:59.620-07:002012-05-24T06:37:59.620-07:00the railroad quilting is nice and consistent...you...the railroad quilting is nice and consistent...you are doing well...i am making a quilt top with these practice blocks we are making...hope it looks ok when it is finishedsherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15592576771577209400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6608589772277647811.post-40994368930733540182012-05-23T22:11:05.060-07:002012-05-23T22:11:05.060-07:00Yep!
